Article marketing is a term that’s thrown out there a lot in the marketing industry, especially in internet marketing. You may or may not know this, but you can leverage article marketing to make money in a number of ways. Before giving you tips ways you can make money via leveraging article marketing, let’s quickly cover what it is.

Different people have different opinions and thoughts about what article marketing is. The gist and the short version is (and it’s pretty self explanatory) it’s a marketing method that involves using/publishing articles across the internet. Affiliate marketing is one of the most common ways people make money online. There’s a tons of ways to make money with affiliate marketing, but one of the best ways is to leverage article marketing. In principle, it works by publishing articles and including affiliate links within those articles.

What you could do (and it’s pretty basic and straightforward advice) is to choose 8-10 sites that allow you to publish articles, as well as affiliate links within your articles. Your articles should be created with SEO in mind. An example of a strategy:

. Only 1 out of 3 articles should contain an affiliate link

In turn, you might get more paying subscribers, which in turn means more money in your pocket.

Article marketing can be used to help attract leads. Lead generation can result in you making a ton of money. You could build an email list or use article marketing to generate more phone calls or email/messenger inquiries. For example, you can create 10 short articles to publish across various sites and platforms. Each article can contain a link for people to join your email list or you can include your business’s phone number or social media contact info.

The more leads you generate, the more of a chance you have of selling your products/services or with affiliate marketing.
