Can You Actually Get Paid To Upload Files

Can you get paid to upload files? How the heck does this whole thing work and how much can you potentially make? I know you have questions about this way of making money online (I assume), and I’ll do my best to explain how it works. I’ll also give you a list of websites that might be interested in using.

How Does It Work

When I’ve come across websites saying you can get paid to upload files, I tend to think the more accurate description would be “upload files and make money when someone unlocks or downloads your file.” This is because this is essentially how you actually earn money. You upload your files to the website you’ve joined, and when a person takes a survey or do whatever task the website wants them to do, then the file is unlocked or downloaded. In turn, you get paid.

In short, you don’t actually get paid to upload files or even share files. You get paid when someone unlocks the content you’ve uploaded or downloads it. I know I sound like a broken record, but that is pretty much what it is.

Tips For Uploading Files

First, you need to use a website that has a good reputation. After you do this, read through their guidelines, rules and all that stuff. And then, you can think about the type of content you should create.

Research what people are searching for and then create an eBook or a newsletter within that topic. For example, are there a lot of people looking for ways to make money online? If so, then create an eBook about the different ways, and then upload it to a website (more on that later). Basically, create content around a popular topic, turn it into a file and upload it.

However, it doesn’t stop there. I doubt people are going to stumble to whatever site you’ve uploaded your file/files to. I’m not saying this won’t happen, but you’ll probably want to promote your link/file. Do this by building up a following on social media, but don’t do any kind of spamming.

I know building up a following on social media can be a daunting task, but if you’re serious about getting paid to upload (more like upload and waiting for someone to download) content, then you need to promote via social media; But only in a natural way, and not a spammy way.

I don’t really have any in-depth tips to share. It really comes down to popular content and driving traffic to that content, and then hoping people unlock it or download it.

Is “Getting Paid To Upload Files” Really A Good Way To Earn Money

I guess this really depends on who you ask. Me personally, I don’t see it as a solid way to make residual income or a consistent amount of income. I mean, if you create a popular digital content (turned into a file) and loads of people download it or unlock it week after week after week, then you probably will earn decent. But, what exactly are the odds of being able to do this and just how much work will be involved? I imagine a ton of work and the odds are probably not that high.

Once again, if you’re good at promoting and you find a good site to use, then the income might make your efforts worthwhile.

Get Paid To Upload Files: The Cons

I’m not saying this is a horrible way of trying to make money, but I do think there are a few cons. Those are:

  1. People are wary of downloading anything from the internet. If you use a site that isn’t reputable, then people probably won’t want to download your file. If all they have to do is perform a task (like a survey) to unlock it, then they’ll probably do it.
  2. You need content that is in high demand. You might struggle figuring out what’s in demand and what isn’t.
  3. Promoting, and I’ve said this numerous times already. Be prepared to promote your link/file, and heavily if you are hoping to earn cash.

You might not have an issue with any of the above. If so, then I suppose there aren’t any cons for you. That’s good!

Get Paid To Upload: Brief List Of Sites

I am not affiliated with these websites, nor have I personally used them (yet). In the future I might give them a go, but for now I have not used trhem. I’ve done research and read other reviews about them. With that said, if you do want to get paid for uploading files, then these sites might be worth looking at:

  • ShareCash
  • Dollar Upload

Again, I have not tried them out yet. If I decide to, I’ll let you know. Good luck if you sign up with any of the above.

Final Thoughts

My final thoughts is this: research sites that claim to pay you for uploading files. Find out when they pay, how they pay and what types of files/content you can upload. Read reviews about them, and definitely check out what people are saying on their Facebook page.

Don’t count on getting rich with this. Heck, don’t count on earning hundreds per month with it. It could happen, but I think it’s highly unlikely unless you are willing to put in a ton of work.

I’m not really sold on the whole get paid for upploading files, at least not if your goal is to make serious income online. In my opinion, it’ll take a lot of effort promoting in exchange for a small amount of money, if someone actually downloads your content.

But then again, if you’re willing to put in a ton of effort into content creation and promoting, and you use a good website, then maybe you could make alright cash. You don’t really have anything to lose. Good luck if you try this method of making money online.
