Textbroker: Make Money Writing Articles

A lot of people want to make money writing articles, and many of them end up stumbling across Textbroker. If you’re not familiar with this site, then read this article. I’ll go over the basics of Textbroker, and will tell you what I like about it, what I dislike and other info you might find useful.

About Textbroker

Textbroker is another content writing service, and they’ve been around for a longtime. In fact, they’ve been around since 2007, making them one of the oldest content writing services around, I believe.

How Do You Earn Money Writing Articles For Textbroker

You make money writing articles, of course. To be more specific, Textbroker allows you to make money via direct orders, team orders and the open order pool. Direct orders are direct requests from clients, while team orders are from clients who have put together a team of writers, and one of those writers can choose to write the order.

When you join Textbroker, the majority of the work will likely come from the open order pool. These are orders that can be picked up by any eligible writer. By eligible, I mean you can write the articles if you’re not blocked by the customer and if you have the appropriate star rating.

Star Ratings

Speaking of star ratings, there are four ratings. As a writer, you’ll either be classed as a 2, 3, 4 or 5 star writer. The higher the rating, the more money you can make writing articles. Also, a five start writer can write any article, while a four star writer can write 2, 3 or 4 star article requests, and a three star writer can. . . You get the idea. Do keep in mind that becoming a five star writer is difficult, but not impossible.

Revisions & Rejections

I want to point out that customers on Textbroker can request revisions, and in some cases can outright reject articles. Although, I believe Textbroker gets the final say in whether or not an article can be rejected. Also, if a customer does request a revision, you can dispute it.

Textbroker: The Pros & Cons

The Pros

  • Decent Pay- The pay is decent, if you can write a few articles per day and if you can become a three star writer or higher. Generally speaking, you should be able to make easily $10-$20 per day writing on Textbroker; That is if the work is available, which is the case with any other article writing service.

  • Work Can Be Consistent- The work can be consistent, but do expect to be waiting around for it to come in when it is slow. I suggest checking the open order pool regularly when there are no articles to write. Sometimes the open order pool will not have any articles at all, but if you keep on checking, you can try to pick them up as soon as they start entering the pool.

  •  Check Customers’ Revision/Rejection Rates- You can check customers’ rejection and revision rates. If the rejection rate is extremely high, then you can make the call to write for them or not.

The Cons

  • Lack Of Work- Textbroker can go through a dry spell, quite often actually. Sometimes there’ll be tons of articles to write, and before you know it there’ll be barely any to write. This is why you have to do the work when it’s available, and not drag your feet!

  • Lengthy Instructions- Sometimes you’ll come across an article request that involves writing a few hundred words, but the instructions will be extremely lengthy. When the instructions are lengthy and extremely detailed, this could put off some writers.

Do I Recommend Writing For Textbroker

I recommend using Textbroker as a writer. If you want to make money writing articles, then Textbroker is a great place to do it. Realistically, you can earn $300 per month, easily. Some writers can make much more than that.

Do keep in mind that you have to apply to become a writer. Just because you apply does not mean you’ll be approved. Nonetheless, it doesn’t hurt to try, so I say give it a go.

I say give Textbroker a try. If you want to make money writing articles online, then this site is a good place to start. I personally am a huge fan of Textbroker and highly recommend writing for them.
